Plains ad coastlines makes up the land of North Cyprus generally. Because of its vast coastlines and it being an island itself, water pollution is major problem that North Cyprus is facing. Plastics thrown in the bodies of water greatly threathens their marine life. Marine animals are continuously washed ashore , harmed , if not lifeless. Garbage dumping is also becoming a problem for this island, many households tend to dump their garbages in vacant lots near their houses. In doing so, health issues arise because of improper waste disposal which must be addressed by tha turkish government.
